TECHNOLOGY

Work at the selected depth.

The microneedles enter the skin before RF energy is delivered. Depending on the selected tip, the needles may be insulated or non-insulated. The manufacturer documentation distinguishes these configurations in order to adapt energy distribution and tissue interaction to the selected protocol.

INSULATED MICRONEEDLES

Concentrate energy at depth.

With insulated needles, the coating limits direct RF delivery at the surface and concentrates emission at the active portion of the needle. The manufacturer presents this configuration as a way to better control tissue interaction at depth while limiting superficial impact.

The manufacturer documentation also states minimal downtime of approximately 1 to 2 days for the relevant protocols; actual recovery depends on the protocol and individual response.
